Events offer unique and often challenging experiences within the server. Events also are a great opportunity to team up with other players, strategize, and enjoy a collaborative experience.
We offer two types of events on ECV, admin-made events and on-demand events. Admin-made are events that an admin plan, prepares and executes for players. On-deman events are automated server features that players can start by themselves (Haunted House, Maze, etc).
In summary, events are intended to be high-risk, high-reward scenarios. Participate responsibly, be prepared for the challenges, and focus on having fun with the community.
Please be aware of the following guidelines when participating on any kind of event:
Participate at Your Own Risk #
Events frequently involve a significantly increased zombie presence and heightened danger. Be prepared for intense situations and potential character death.
Item Responsibility #
Do not bring valuable or irreplaceable items to events. Loss of items during an event is a possibility, and you are responsible for your own inventory.
Respect Event Frequency #
Avoid excessive requests or attempts to trigger admin-run events. Allow time for planning and for all players to participate.
Play Fair #
Any attempt to exploit glitches, cheat, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage during an event is strictly prohibited and will be dealt with accordingly.
No Admin Intervention #
Administrators will generally not intervene to recover lost items or resolve issues arising from player choices or mistakes made during events.
